Couple from Madrid who loved Positano but couldn't stomach the per-guest cost. We placed them in a private villa 15 minutes up the coast in Praiano — same cliff views, half the venue fee, private parking for the vendor trucks. Guests stayed in Positano and arrived by pre-booked boat transfer at golden hour. Ceremony on the pool terrace at 6:30pm.

Most full-service Amalfi weddings for 40–80 guests range from roughly €35,000 to €280,000. Positano venues are the most expensive per guest; Ravello and Praiano are typically 20–35% more affordable for a comparable experience.
When is the best time to get married on the Amalfi Coast?
Late May, June and September are ideal — warm sea, clear light, manageable crowds. July and August are hot and heavily booked from local holidays. October can be beautiful but weather starts to shift after mid-month.
Is Positano or Ravello better for a wedding?
Positano suits smaller, cinematic weddings where guests won't mind vertical streets and steps. Ravello suits larger weddings that need garden space, calmer logistics and cooler evening temperatures.
How do guests get around during an Amalfi wedding weekend?
Almost never by their own rental car — the coast road doesn't allow it easily. We plan pre-booked boat transfers, private-driver shuttles and hotel blocks within walking distance of the ceremony, so no guest is stranded.
